Stadium Roland Garros, Paris
Modulo was used as an innovative solution for the refurbishment of the VIP area and adjacent new kitchen at the Roland Garros stadium renovation. The builders chose the lightweight Modulo H50 to raise the floor level without adding excessive load to the existing structure. The void underneath the floor was used to facilitate the passage and easy inspection of drain pipes.
Modulo’s stackability reduced transportation costs and saved storage space at the congested construction site. Its simple installation allowed minimal demolition and fast construction with no additional machinery. Modulo also helped reduce concrete consumption by 20 %, which lowered CO2 emissions and increased the overall sustainability of the Roland Garros project.
